About us
Who are we?
We are a multi-lingual and multi-cultural team of destination wedding planners based in Paris and Venice. Our full-service wedding and event planning agency is called Chateau & Villa Weddings. We have been creating and organizing weddings, vow renewals, wedding anniversaries and other types of fun and chic parties for over 15 years, both in France and Italy. We specialize in organizing events for English-speaking couples who either live here or just come to Europe to celebrate their special event.
Our team up close and personal:
Caroline : US-born with French parents. Bilingual French – English. Our “petite brunette” instinctively knows what couples are looking for and how to reply to the most difficult or whimsical request. Caroline loves becoming a bride’s confidante and best friend. She has impeccable taste and knows what’s hot and what’s not. Also a fantastic rock ‘n’ roll dancer. Elena : Italian-born, has lived and studied in the US. Bilingual Italian – English. Our bubbly, full of energy, Italian wedding coordinator. Elena inspires confidence from the start. She handles complex events with meticulous care and attention. She makes couples feel at ease and able to relax in her experienced planning hands. Also a whizz with figures!
Sharon : British-born, passionate Francophile. Bilingual English – French. Our resident tea-sipping Brit has made ‘Task lists’ an art form. Super-organized, meticulous and thorough, she knows how to piece together an event from start to finish with no hitches. She is diplomactic and pragmatic with a creative flair. Oh so British. Sharon loves writing and thus has been handed the job of attempting to describe our daily experiences and discoveries as wedding planners in this blog!
